Sooooo, spontaneously we decided to make up a blog for TQC, which stands for The Queer Connection, a LGBTQ student organization at Cal State LA. It took us about 30 minutes to come up with our URL name. First we thought of, plain and simple, The Queer Connection, but we wanted something more catchy, trendy, fun. Then we thought of Out In LA, but one of us thought it was a magazine. We wiki-ed Out In LA and discovered that it was a Red Hot Chili Peppers album, and it wasnt available, so we nixed it. So after a few more rounds of the name game, we came up with Gayz in l.A, Gay on LA, The Wierd Queerz, which was immediatley rejected by JOEY, the treasuer. So then we decided to keep the Out in LA but change the "in" to "n" :-). And yes there is a difference between 'in' and 'n'....anyways, if you read our blogs, you'll be reading different entries from the officers of TQC, who are
